Come and experience the exhilarating White water rafting on one of Scotland 's most exciting stretches of river. Our partner activity providersr will guide you down a number of rivers in the Highland Perthshire area. Ideal for fun weekends, the serious water sports enthusiast, or for a special group event, rafting in Perthshire is a unique.

This half day trip is about six miles in the distance, and starts from the old market town of Aberfeldy. Here the river winds lazily along the Tay valley, through rolling hills and stunning scenery. This is an area with a diverse wildlife which is best seen from the river. The paddle crew has ample opportunity to practice their newly learnt rafting skills before the river drops away and creates a challenging rapids that flow down to Grandtully.

Rapids such as 'Zoom Flume' and 'The Washing Machine' keep people on their toes. Grandtully rapid is where the trip ends. This is the longest rapid on the river and provides one or two surprises for the unwary rafter! A conveniently sited hostelry makes for a nice way to end the day.

Slightly less energetic, but no less exhilarating for aficionados, Perthshire offers some of the best fishing that Scotland has to offer. Dalmarnock is one of the largest beats on the River Tay and well worth a visit.

Pitlochry also has fishing boats to rent from Pitlochry Boating Station. Here you can enjoy the tranquil surrounds of Loch Faskally and have a bite to eat in the cafe afterwards.
